Essentially he told us that Angeles is the prostitution capital of the Philippines. He sat us down and explained what Angeles had to offer. Inside we were welcomed by the hostel owner, a Dutch chef. Now with all the amazing accommodation we were used to across South East Asia, this place looked like it was slapped together at the last minute and tried to sell itself as Angeles' only Hostel, which I think it actually was at the time. A short walk brought us to our hostel, the lazily named Friendship Budget Hotel. We took a bus from the airport and were dropped off in the city.
